Your privacySmaak & Cultuur (Dam47, Senne Sultan, Amsterdam) handles your data with care. We only ask for what we need to organise workshops and answer your questions. Below you can read what we store, why, where and for how long.
What data we processIf you buy a workshop or gift voucher: your name, email address and payment. This goes through WeTicket.
If you fill in a form on this site: what you enter, that is your first name and email address (and, if you like, when you are usually available) to be notified of new dates, or your name, phone number and company for a group request.
If you email or message us: your message and your contact details.
After the workshop we keep track of who took part in which workshop.
What we use it forArranging your booking, payment and participation.
Sending you recipes and explanations after the workshop.
Emailing you about new workshops, only if you said yes to this yourself. You can unsubscribe via any email.
Keeping our accounts, as required by law.
Photos and videosDuring workshops we sometimes take photos or videos for Instagram. We ask about this on the spot. If you'd rather not be in the picture, we take that into account. If you later want a photo removed, just email us.
Services we useWebflow: the website and the forms.
WeTicket: tickets, gift vouchers and payment.
EmailOctopus: the newsletter.
Notion: our participant records.
Make: automatically sends the confirmation and the emails about new dates when you ask to be notified.
Tikkie or a bank transfer: individual purchases at the workshop.
Plausible Analytics: visitor statistics, without cookies.
WhatsApp, Instagram, Google and Trustpilot: only if you click a link yourself. Their own privacy policies then apply.
Webflow, Notion and Make are services of American companies. Some data may therefore be stored outside the EU.
Cookies and statisticsThis site does not place cookies and does not track you. We count visits with Plausible Analytics, a European service (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia). Plausible does not store personal data or your IP address. We only see totals: how many people view a page, from which country, which site they came from and how often a booking button is clicked or a form is submitted. The data is stored on servers in Germany. Because we don't track anyone, we don't ask for cookie consent.
How long we keep dataParticipant data: up to 2 years after your last workshop.
Gift vouchers: until the voucher has been redeemed or has expired.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Group requests and new-date notifications: 1 year, unless they lead to a workshop.
Invoices: 7 years, as required by tax law.
Your rightsYou can view, correct or delete your data, object, or withdraw your consent. Email
senne@smaakcultuur.nl; you will receive a reply within a month. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the
Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
